Journeyman

HVAC Commercial & New Construction Journeymen

Position Overview: As an HVAC Commercial & New Construction Residential Journeymen at Poudre Valley Air, you will play a crucial role in installing and managing HVAC systems and ductwork. This position demands a blend of technical skills and the ability to work seamlessly with various stakeholders in the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC systems and ductwork, ensuring efficient operation and integration.

• Plan and measure duct systems, coordinating requirements with our fabrication shop.

• Read and interpret blueprints, effectively collaborating with other trades.

• Communicate clearly with general contractors, engineers, architects, and owners.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of all code requirements and understand the building cycle's progression.

• Acquire and maintain certifications in First Aid, OSHA 10, fall protection, ladder and scaffolding safety, crane, and lift operations.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• No felony convictions and ability to pass a background check.

• Working knowledge of HVAC system and ductwork installation.

• Ability to layout and measure duct systems.

• Proficient in reading blueprints and effective communication with various construction stakeholders.

• Knowledge of code requirements and building cycle progression.

• Ability or willingness to obtain relevant safety certifications.
